The subject line should include your name and the GreekTV category your contribution falls under. In your email, please provide a title and summary of your work and include
a line or two about why the contribution is important to Greeks worldwide or to your local Greek community. Also, let us now
if your topic is hot right now!


Provide your credits (they will appear next to your article when we decide to publish it). Credits should include:


  1. Full name *If you would like your piece to be signed without your real name, please also provide a pseudonym.
  2. Profession
  3. Country of residence
  4. Location your piece is about (if applicable)
  5. Links to your own site, social media profiles, etc.
    (if applicable).


Attach your submission to the email. If your submission exceeds 1mb, use or Dropbox to send it as a zip file. Make sure to check out our technical guidelines .You can also send us a private link to YouTube or Vimeo
to preview your videos.


And remember! If you have topics in mind you would like

What to contribute.

GreekTV content is organized in the following categories: Visionaries, Culture, Gastronomy, Travel, Behind the News, and LGBT. We are also open to including categories such
as Health, Tech, Books, Business, and Opinions.
(See descriptions at end of page). All contributions should fall under one of these topic areas.


GreekTV is currently accepting the following:


  • Written articles
    Articles of “Greek” interest that are inspirational, informative or interesting. Each post should range within 500-1000 words, contain a title, short summary, credits, main text and be accompanied by a high resolution photo (at least 1200 by 800 px on 72 dpi). We are able to help with photography if necessary.

  • Picture documentaries
    A series of 5-15 pictures describing a place, event, or subject. We are open to informative and artistic submissions. Each submission should contain a title and a summary. It can be accompanied by a descriptive text or our editors can provide one for selected pieces.

  • Videos
    A short documentary, a video interview, a short story, or a human portrait that presents people, places and stories of the way Greeks and Greek-Americans live today. We give emphasis to the human story. Max duration should be around 10 minutes.


Please note (!):

  • By submitting your work to, you confirm that you are the intellectual property owner and have the legal rights to publish all materials submitted. Other contributors can also be mentioned/credited.

  • We will not publish offensive, racist, inaccurate, or false content.

  • We will not publish content that does not follow all guidelines (regarding both its nature and the submission process).

  • We will not provide monetary compensation for any articles, photos or videos. However, we will accredit the work using profile information and media links.


How selection works.

Our team of editors will review valid submissions and choose the articles to be published on GreekTV. They will also choose the ideal time for approved articles to be published and will notify the contributors in advance. Please keep in mind that
not all submissions will be published.
